I was born and raised in the Boise area, I grew up in Meridian, and lived in Kuna for 10 plus years.  I started my fire career in my early 20s working as a wildland firefighter.  I didn't get into municipal firefighting until my late 20s where I went to fire academy and got my EMT in Texas.  I was hired by Kuna Fire District in January 2014 as a part-time paid on call firefighter.  I then got my EMT-A through the fire district.  I was hired fulltime in August of 2016. I was promoted to Engineer in May of 2018, and then to Captain in January of 2023 where I currently serve on C-shift.
